Gerald Crittle is an abstract artist based in Gloucestershire who enjoys creating textured surfaces and experimenting with mixed media. His art often hints at celestial bodies like planets and galaxies, but he purposely avoids depicting anything easily identifiable. Gerald also creates unique art from old gnarled floorboards, using the distressed surface as a canvas to bring a bit of quirkiness and originality to each piece.
Gerald's artistic journey began around 2008 and since then, he has been on a continuous path of growth and exploration. Over the years, he has honed his technique, established a unique style, and significantly increased his artistic output. His art is created in his studio in Cheltenham and in his garden in Churchdown.
