Jonathan Oakes

I would like to invite you to my second solo exhibition at the Gardens Gallery, Cheltenham. I was last here in September 2023. I must have enjoyed the experience, because I have come back for the sequel. It is not a repeat show as over half the artworks are fresh and new.
I create artworks which are abstract by definition but are just starting points for the viewer’s imagination. The themes behind the majority of my artworks are embedded in environmental issues and examine everyday occurrences and habits, sometimes questioning our collective behaviours.
I will be present at the gallery throughout the exhibition.
